I actually found this place walking around a deserted construction zone that was behind these old stores and fields.
The clouds were really pretty yesterday, and so I decided to put the photo in black and white so you see the clouds with greater distinction. I also liked how the wooden poles created stripes over the dock.
This area is completely industrialized now and rather depressed, but I found out that this was the landing area of Roger Williams (founded the state) when he first came to RI in 1636.

A basketball court where the grass has taken over the concrete. People were still playing there though.
A place that sells Thai Tea ice cream — had no money, so will go back later.
An amazing taco restaurant that has outdoor seating in picnic bench style — come a warm day, and I will be there.
Here’s to many more wondering walks with friends around random areas of Providence. I’ve really come to love this city.
