Here is my final report on the Cheonggyecheon River. All NSLIY Korea students starting in March get to choose a topic of their choice (must be approved and be something you can’t necessarily do in the U.S.) and study it in their free time. I chose to study the history of Seoul’s second biggest river – the Cheonggyecheon – with a focus on the covering of the river to make a highway and then the uncovering that later followed.
I also have to write a Korean abstract for it, but have not done that yet. That will come soon! Enjoy the paper!
